My journey includes overcoming significant personal challenges that taught me resilience and the value of second chances. These experiences shaped me into the educational leader I am today and instilled in me a profound understanding of what it means to need support when systems fail you.

This perspective became even more vital when my own son struggled in traditional schools. Despite his incredible potential, educators focused only on his limitations rather than his capabilities. As his mother, watching this was heartbreaking. As an advocate, it became my purpose.
